Info from the Heemkring Molenstede:
(coming from the road next to the railway in the direction of Broekstraat):
On the right is the former villa of the baron with the curious name "Gaston de Waha".
This villa or castle as it is called in Molenstede, was built in 1901 by Eugeen Peeters. After the death of Baroness De Waha-Kirch in 1961, Henri Peeters bought the entire domain. Peeters allocates part of it.
Doctor Van Roosbroeck has been the owner and resident of the castle since 1973. A few years ago there was still a bridge over the Hellestraat. The masonry foundations are still clearly visible.
The Hellestraat forms the division between the Langenberg (right) and the Grasbos (left)."

The masonry foundations (with brick pieces) and many concrete parts of fences are still there. The latter is actually a shame because gray monstrosities disfigure this indeed beautiful sunken road that can of course be a bit wetter and provides wonderful cooling on hot days. You can also see the house (or villa) when there is more greenery, as there is now.
