The Rittergut Garz is one of the oldest estates in the state of Brandenburg. A residential tower has been preserved from the medieval fortifications. The fieldstone tower from the 13th or 14th century (11 m high, with walls up to 1.40 m thick) served as a residence for the von Quast family after the Thirty Years' War. To the south of the manor house, which was built around 1700, is an approximately six hectare manor park designed in a landscape style
