The Garz manor is one of the oldest estates in the state of Brandenburg. A residential tower has been preserved from the medieval fortifications. The fieldstone tower, which dates back to the 13th or 14th century (eleven meters high, with walls up to 1.40 meters thick), served as a home for the von Quast family after the Thirty Years' War. To the south of the manor house, which was built around 1700, there is an approximately six hectare estate park designed in a landscape style.
