Road Cycling Highlight (Segment)
Super-beautiful stretch along the mountain streams for a long time. The first ascent from the direction of Tegernsee is relatively steep, followed by a great intermediate descent. Then it goes relatively comfortably high over the Spitzingsee to the Spitzingsattel 1129 m above sea level. NN.DANGER:
BUS TRAFFIC: hourly bus service on the route between Spitzingsee and Rottach-Egern. So don't overdo it on the descent.
SNOW HOLE: It is best not to go before May! Otherwise, there is a great risk that you will get stuck in the snow from Rottach in the shady area to the Brenner Gorge.Accident report: merkur.de/lokales/region-tegernsee/rottach-egern-ort29359/in-valepp-rennradler-31-prallt-gegen-linienbus-und-wird-schwer-verletzt-12889781.html

The road is very well paved - no potholes. It is for the most part even closed to motor traffic. The route offers two beautiful climbs and a great descent. And you always have views of the mountains, wildly romantic gorges or gentle pastures. Out of sheer wonder one does not notice the altimeter.

You should really pay attention to the bus. The bus commutes every hour between 9 and 18 o'clock between Spitzingsee and Tegernsee. Here is the plan: rvo-bus.de/oberbayernbus/view/mdb/kursbuch/mdb_237121_9560_16.pdf
