Hiking

An upper and a lower path lead you to the Unstrut cycle path, which runs right along the river. The paths are very romantic. The typical sandstone cliffs make a hike a highlight. The many rock carvings by our ancestors show how well the stone can be worked and processed.

Hiking

After thinking at the beginning of the week that the lower path was not passable, I have since learned that the hiking trails here around Nebra are all a bit like you have to look for them. Today I walked both paths on a short evening round and it went quite well and is worth it: the lower path is sandstone, the upper path with partly beautiful views.
