Today we went near Thiesi, in an inactive volcanic area. Various gorges, rock formations and a colorful plateau with asphodel meadows, various orchids, dandelions, bluebells and flowering clover and thistles. There were no paths, we went on narrow animal paths, over fenced pastures with various climbing… read more

A little tour of Stintino, ok. But what the kilometer-long walk on the bike path along the road was supposed to do afterwards is not clear to me. Especially not when the two of us briefly moved away from the group to the abandoned tower on the beach. And found out that there is a nature reserve between… read more
A beautiful sandy beach, turquoise sea..... and nobody goes swimming - jellyfish 🦑 But a nice place for the lunch break.
A hike was planned that would take us along the coast with a view of the sea. But a farmer had something against it, he had closed off his property with earthen walls and a gate. With that, the sea views were gone and the route on the road chosen by the hiking guide was only half as nice.

W/ the weather we went back to the hotel earlier. And the rain stopped😀 . So the six of us were dropped off in Fertilia. An ice cream on the hand, then it went over the cliffs to the hotel.
It's pouring rain, so no hike today. City tour in Sassari, there is a chance to see the church, university and museum. Unfortunately, the first two are closed. But a long lunch break in the café and the exhibition in the National Museum are possible.
4 km could do it, but the speed was about 3 km/h.
Due to the onset of heavy rain, we couldn't go up the single trail to the viewpoint. Therefore only a short round through the place, a former mining town. Largely abandoned today.

It's pouring, but a few are up to the Castell. Unfortunately with 5 € entry for the inner courtyard. We gave each other..... and are back.
A rock climbing tour at its finest! Challenging on the first half of the Cape Crag hike with very narrow paths and scrambling over the rocks but super awesome red granite rock formations.
