“Only a few tens of meters above or northwest of the Kleinlegelbacher Wooges is the natural and therefore seasonal spring water outlet of the approximately one-kilometer-long Kleiner Legelbach. The Kleine Legelbach is the only significant tributary of the Legelbach.
In addition to the alternative name Buchholdklause, the Woog was once also known as a Trockentalklause. This points to the dry valley running north-east from the Woog, which has no water supply.”
A special feature is the large dam reinforcement by a 5 m high sandstone wall. Source (cited almost verbatim): kuladig.de/Objectansicht/KLD-290147

The Trift adventure trail continues above the Trockentalklause and directly past the small Trockentalhütte (private, but outside with seating).

My first highlight that I created on my first Komoot tour. It all started here.
The hut is used as a rifle range by hunters. When it pops, approach slowly.
