This rustic shelter (of the forestry office?) is located on a small hill and is quite overgrown around it. With its beautiful veranda, it looks like a ranch. Below the veranda is a large, round sandstone table with additional seating.

On the large forest meadow in Glastal, which you can see from the veranda, the "Glastalerhof" used to stand on the site of a former glassworks, "which was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. Later, an agricultural property was built there," which was abandoned in the 19th century and fell into disrepair.
