After Tanja and I had a quick errand in LU this morning, we took a lap around Maudacher Bruch.
Komoot was helpful, as the markings for the circular trails are hardly recognizable anymore, or no longer exist. Of course, we also climbed Monte Scherbelino🤣.

To avoid the brakes today, Tanja chose Schifferstadt. First a bit around it, then through it and for a stop we went to the Bahnweiher with a nice beer garden, here the Italian baked us delicious pizza.

Today it was supposed to be one of the new Hiwwel tours, the Hiwwel tour Wasserturm.
A short but beautiful tour, also suitable for families with children. The figures, the NSG, the stream and the beautiful trail guidance make the whole thing a very entertaining hike.

Today the surprise was great, at 5:30 a WhatsApp and a short call came... another 100 km and I'll be at your door, and so it was, I was happy as can be 🥰, Astrid is a bit crazy 🫶. Picked up Tanja, had a short appointment in Frankental, had a nice breakfast and did a small, fine loop around Maxdorf

Today we were above Heidelberg, between Königsstuhl and Hirschberg... lots of forest, some huts, some fountains and a tower, which unfortunately is only open on weekends/holidays.

Today Manu planned a rain-suitable tour for us starting from Fischbach. First to the Diemerstein ruins and through the Glasbachtal to the giant sequoias at the Himmelswiese and back to Fischbach.
