The Hochleite is a wonderful cycle and footpath and stretches almost ten kilometers to Grünwald. A wonderfully shady path in summer and in winter and spring it's worth cycling here because of the great view over the Isar Valley. There is always the opportunity to hike down to the Isar via small stairways.

Nice, shady bike path on the high bank, and the Menterschwaige is one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Munich anyway. And if you drive over the Grosshesseloher Bridge, you are also quickly at the forest management.
When the weather is good, there is a bit of (bicycle) traffic, so you have to be considerate - but you should anyway!
By the way, it is also my regular running route, but the path for walkers and runners is separate from the bike path.
