Logical, the zoo Hellabrunn must have looked at each other! Highly recommended: a group tour in the evening! Since you have the zoo for yourself, while it is usually very crowded. Opposite you can eat in the inn Siebenbrunn nice!

The zoo is certainly an asset to Munich. Interesting are the evening / night tours. The petting zoo is currently under construction. Highly recommended, when it has warmed up: the large bird house and the tropical house!

A MUST in Munich. Especially for children a highlight: the bat grotto.

A beautiful geozoo where you can take a long walk. And hopefully open for visitors sometime after spring 2020

Very nice zoo. Directly on the Isar and easily accessible by bike.

Get off your bike and into one of Germany's largest and most diverse zoos. Highly recommended for big and small. Better during the week.

The zoo itself is of course a highlight of Munich. The streets and footpaths are correspondingly lively on nice days. There are - unfortunately only partially - bike paths, but usually must be shared with pedestrians. So watch out ...
The road itself is not ideal either, as there is a lot of traffic and many drivers tend to keep an eye on the next parking space rather than the cyclist next to them.
The steep road behind the zoo is almost grotesque. You can go up on the footpath, down only on the driveway. Not ideal for cyclists - especially children. The zoo in particular is a destination for many Munich residents who like to come by bike.
Unfortunately, little thought was given to these many cyclists.
