Tips

The Flaucher is a worth seeing place in the south of Munich. The Isar divides here into several arms, which then reunite. Normally a few gravel islands are in between, but at high tide the area can turn into a single water surface! The Flaucherbiergarten is just around the corner! :-)

The Munich Flaucher, the so-called "Isar-Riviera" extends from the Brüdermühlbrücke over the zoo to the southern city limits. Beautiful green areas in the meadows on both sides of the Isar invite you to barbecue and relax.

The Flaucher is a piece of mountain river in the middle of Munich. Just magical as here the Isar paves the way in countless arms.

Great area in the middle of Munich.
Rapids in the Isar are well suited for fun dinghy rides.
Always very busy (especially on weekends)

If you want to barbecue, please note: the city of Munich tolerates the barbecue outside the middle ring along the Isar. Within the middle ring it is forbidden and is fined! The Brudermühl Bridge is one of the borders ...

Around the Flauchersteg there are numerous beautiful swimming areas and barbecue areas. Especially in the summer often overrun.

From this point, the Isar is divided into smaller streams that flow together again behind the Flaucher islands.
