The mountain cemetery and the mountain church are on the plateau of the Goldberg. The fortification of the gold mountain on the cemetery wall can still be guessed at, which was ordered by Emperor Henry VI in 1195. was built, but was destroyed again in the course of a feud between the Osthofener Vogt and the Bishop of Worms almost 50 years later. The surrounding wall, the walls and the drawbridge were demolished in the 19th century to make more space in the cemetery for the rapidly growing population. On an exploration tour around the mountain church you can marvel at numerous interesting, sometimes richly decorated tombstones from the 19th century, which together with a large stock of trees make the Osthofener Bergfriedhof an idyllic and shady place of rest. Very nice old cemetery, with beautiful, ancient trees - you shouldn't go on it in the wind because of broken branches it is also warned by a sign, but the cemetery is very, very worth seeing

The mountain church, steeped in history, stands on the summit of the Goldberg. At the end of the first millennium there was a castle with a church. During the Thirty Years' War, however, the church fell victim to the fire and could not be rebuilt until 1744.
