From Leer in the direction of Ihrhove along the railway and then on through the Hammrich to Mitling Mark (the section on the dike is partially closed due to the Friesenbrücke bridge construction site). Take a break in the small village. We found the very simple cake in the ferry house very expensive at €4.20, so next time we'll take provisions with us and sit on the dike. Then the highlight, a crossing with the Friesen ferry to Weener. From then on dike back to empty.
