Bahnhof ist übertrieben, aber immerhin eine Station zum Ein- und Aussteigen an der neuen Bahnstrecke zwischen Leer und Groningen.
Es sind einige Parkplätze, Unterstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder mit Bügel und sogar abschließbare Fahrradboxen vorhanden.
Es ist die letzte Haltestelle vor der Grenze in den Niederlanden.

20 Teilnehmer trafen sich bei unbeständigen Herbstwetter zur letzten offiziellen Tour der Ortsgruppe Papenburg zu einer kurzen Tour über Aschendorf, Herbrum und Neulehe nach Aschendorfermoor. Dort im Dorfgemeinschaftshaus war für alle ein Tisch vorbereitet mit Kaffee und leckeren selbstgebackenen Kuchen.

The Tuesday tour led in almost summery temperatures towards Aschendorfermoor and then on the newly built cycle path to Aschendorf. It continued towards the Herbrumer Schleuse, Rhede and along the dike past Vellage and the MeyerWerft back to Papenburg.

Near Klein-Hesepe, after a ride on beautiful side routes, I reached a hydropower plant for electricity generation on the Ems.

We took advantage of the really beautiful last summer day before autumn starts tomorrow for a nice cross-country tour to the new railway bridge near Weener. After crossing the bridge, we rode along the dike back to Papenburg to be on time for the award ceremony of this year's Stadtradeln in the town

Today, 17 of us drove in glorious weather over the Obenende towards Burlage/Bockhorst and then along the entire Jammertalstraße without any car traffic.
We then cycled back on side roads and through Klostermoor.
We took three leisurely breaks along the way.
