No, the Tonberg is not a 4000, more like a 400. Far away from the big streets, it rises above the contemplative Bad Colberg. The entrance to the mountain begins right next to Sabine's café. Halfway between the base camp in the Kurpark and the summit, a narrow mountain path branches off from the main path and leads over soft forest soil through a beautiful mixed forest, up to the Tonberg refuge and further down another route to the main path, which can also be used as a circuit around the mountain is walkable.
