Erlebach was a manor and for a long time owned by the Marschall family - known as Greiff (Marschall-Greiff). When the nobility died out due to a lack of male descendants, the Count of Ortenburg (Tambach Castle) smashed the coat of arms according to old tradition and gave it to the last Greiff to be buried with. After 1945, new farms were built here. A beautiful, quiet place. There are places to sit by the pond.
