One of the most beautiful castle complexes in Germany is located in the Franconian part of Thuringia. Finished up, because the Veste Heldburg houses the German Castle Museum. It shows the history and culture of the castles in Europe to the present day. The museum is so unique in its presentation worldwide. The largest exhibit is the Heldburg itself.
