Born to ski. Forced to work.
Tour with an obstacle: Actually, the Ochsenkopf summit should still be there. The chain broke 150 meters after starting at Karchsee. Thank goodness I had a rivet in the car and back to the car it was all downhill anyway. According to the assembly instructions, Shimano HG chains must never be closed with the rivet that has been pushed out, but only with the special rivet pin. But what was left for me? I riveted it a double link shorter and by bending it back and forth I got the riveted point smoothly. Will that last? At the second start, with the rivet handle in my luggage to be on the safe side, I was a bit uncomfortable. But it held up and could also be switched cleanly. The only drawback, at the Seehaus it was already so late that we had to continue without stopping. And next time I'll have to plan the downhill from the Kisseine better. The single trails, marked S1 at Komoot, are not continuously accessible due to the large granite stones. It's a shame about the altitude difference. Then I even prefer the forest roads.
