This former lookout point is now quite overgrown, but you still have a beautiful view of the Loreley rock from there. In the past, looking at the Rhine, you could get the impression that there are five lakes there, as parts of the river course are covered by hills - this effect has, however, disappeared due to the high vegetation all around.
