Ich finde, man muss nicht weit fahren - Rheinhessen und die Pfalz sind immer für eine Tour gut.
Today I was in beautiful hiking weather in the Hunsrück and hiked the Masdascher Burgherrenweg dream loop. Up on the heights, there was plenty of snow and in the stream valleys rather muddy, all in all the path was very beautiful. Since there was a branch to the Geierlay bridge, I took the detour with me. It surprised me with what kind of footwear most of the visitors to the suspension bridge were on the way🤔But ok, if you really want to walk the Geierlay loop with white sneakers or light leather shoes, you should do so😂😂😂😂
I liked the tour very much and I can only recommend it 👍

On the way back from Spirkelbach, we quickly took the Eiderbach valley with us. Although the paths along the valley were very matching, I enjoyed the nature there. That it snowed a little made it even better. Just followed the "5" mark. But there are numerous ways to extend the route (e.g. combine 5 and 3).
But since I already did a little tour in Spirkelbach before, I also liked the tour in the short version.

Parked at Argenthal Forest Lake. From there we started, always following the impeccable path markings. It went through a beautiful winter landscape. On the Schanzerkopf itself, there was a lot going on ... The numerous families made the toboggan run unsafe with the little ones. The path itself was very nice and quiet. It is true that you have to walk a few meters on the country road - but considering the total length, it is really unimportant. A successful tour👍👍👍
With this tour I have reached my personal goal: 2000 km of recorded distance in 2020. 😉👍
