The perfect route between Papenburg and Leer leads along the Ems. The dike defense road is a popular and frequently traveled route on the Ems dike. The section starts at the locks in front of the Meyer shipyard, takes us past Völlen to Mitling Mark, where there is not only a nice restaurant with a beer garden, but you can also visit the wonderful mill. There is also a nice view of the Ems.
