Eicks Castle

The baroque castle has been family-owned for more than 500 years. The present building, built in 1680 on the foundations of a previous building, was given the shape of a modern small country residence with a carefully landscaped gardens, their routes and bed frames are preserved to this day. You enter the house through a large hall, from which the outside salons and adjoining rooms, as well as the ballroom are accessible. Wall panels, doors, floors, fireplaces and stairs are almost complete, preserved in details from the construction period. The inventory is to a large extent still the old. (Source: schloss-eicks.de)

Very nice facility. Unfortunately not accessible! Everything private! But a detour just to look at the gate entrance is worthwhile! 👍😊
