A Rückriem route was created around the idyllic Langendorf moated castle, on which six of his granite sculptures can be seen. The initiator of the impressive installations was the entrepreneur and art patron Manfred Vetter, who died in 2014 and who has directed the fortunes of the historic moated castle since 1957. In 1999 the first Rückriem monument was inaugurated on the grounds.
