At the entrance of the Schorgasttal there is a small former quarry in Prasiniten der Münchberger Masse. Today the area has been redesigned to a park, a plaque commemorates the Wirsberg honorary citizen Johannes Rode. The break is on the geological nature trail through the Schorgasttal and shows the Prasinite in well-preserved outcrops.
