A beautiful place with many places to stop for refreshments. The pumps are also still in operation. There is a very nice playground on the outskirts for the children, and chestnut trees can be gathered in bulk during the chestnut season. The Werewolf hiking trail also leads through this place. Just hike and let yourself be told what happened here a long time ago. It really happened - whether it was a werewolf is in the room. However, there is a lot to be said for it - but decides for yourself. An exciting story in the surroundings of this place.

A visit from Alt-Kaster is worthwhile, especially the "Ricarda market" is recommended!
The town center is surrounded by an old city wall and houses many listed buildings, nice cafés and cozy restaurants!

A beautiful old town, especially in early December is worth a visit. In contrast to other Christmas markets, the Nicholas Market does not take place on the streets and squares of the historic old town, but in the houses and courtyards of the local residents.
