At the beginning of the 20th century, an emergency church was set up in a converted factory building, which was benedicted in 1917. In 1939/40 a church could be built. The plans of Karl Schmitz, Aachen. It was consecrated on June 14, 1942. In 1962 the baroque altar from Liedberg was returned there.
