The castle garden (Zámecká Zahrada) forms an elongated rectangle measuring 150 by 750 metres southwest of the castle buildings. The total area of the garden is 10.875 hectares. It is surrounded by a wall. The northeast end of the garden faces the facade of the so-called Renaissance House, with which it is connected by a bridge passage. The terrain then rises in a southwesterly direction over two terraces, the so-called parterre and the upper garden. The almost square parterre is laid out as a Rococo garden. The Rococo cascade fountain is also located here. In the rectangle of the upper garden, the garden is now largely freely designed like an English park.
