The church was built around 1220. It is much smaller than the Naumburg Cathedral, but like this it is equipped with all the forms of jewelry that were typical of late Romanesque. Inside the church there are bulky arches on the choir and apse and richly decorated on the corner pillars in the choir Capitals. The church is a little away from the village. The old Steinbach is said to have completely perished during the Thirty Years' War and was rebuilt in its current position.

A very interesting church with a long history and it was open. Although a bit outside of town.

The Margaretenkirche was built in the 13th century in the Romanesque style. The church is not in the middle of the village, as it was destroyed in the Thirty Years War.
The church is open from May to October. An insight is very worthwhile.
