A special highlight is always the visit to the Junkers Ju-52 (affectionately called "Aunt Ju"). Almost 5,000 Junkers Ju 52/3m aircraft were built between 1932 and 1952. It can carry up to 16 passengers and was mainly used in Europe and South America, but also in Africa and Asia. The German Lufthansa Foundation Berlin operates a Junkers Ju 52/3m for special flights, allowing around 10,000 passengers to experience the original fascination of flying every year.

Opposite the tower of the Strausberger airfield, a permanent exhibition provides insight into the diversity of aviation and the zeitgeist between 1913 and the present. On display are plates, models, aircraft parts and numerous aviation utensils.
In winter, the museum is open daily from 8 am until sunset. Admission is free.
Dates for guided tours: from March to October on the 1st and 3rd weekend of the month, on Saturdays from 15.00, on Sundays from 10.00. From November to February visits are possible by prior arrangement.
