A beautiful dreamy lake with an easy to walk circular route.
The adjacent castle area is huge and fenced with barbed wire.

Always nice here, even in summer - even then it is usually relatively lonely.

Nice, calm lake with several small bathing possibilities. In the northern part a lot of deadwood in the water.

The Ihlandsee is one of four beautiful lakes north of Strausberg.

The Ihlandsee has an area of approximately 14 hectares. It still belongs to the Lattseerinne, which is of Ice Age origin. Unfortunately, the last dry summers have also left their marks here. The Erlenbruch at the northern end of the lake is completely dry.
The lake is a private fishing water, for which fishing permits can be purchased from “Rinast” in Strausberg, according to the internet.
There are several small bathing spots, but bathing is actually prohibited. Blue-green algae can often be found here in summer, where bathing in the lake is forbidden anyway.
The loop around the lake has now been cleared pretty well and can be walked easily.

The Ihlandsee is located north of Strausberg and belongs to the so-called Lattgrundrinne. It has an area of approx. 14 ha. There are no visible inflows and outflows.
It is a beautiful lake and the paths around it are mostly good. Due to the persistent drought, the alder forest also suffers.
There is a place where you think it is a bathing place. But bathing is prohibited.
