The Bismarck Tower was built from sandstone that was quarried from the Landau fortress. The tower was originally built by the Ecker company, Landau. Shortly before the tower was unveiled, the structure collapsed and had to be rebuilt. The coat of arms of Bismarck can be seen above the entrance.
