A church in Lommersdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1226. The church mentioned in 1226 was a Romanesque building from the 12th century. This was the first stone church in Lommersdorf. The bell tower has been preserved to this day. The current nave and choir were built in the 15th/16th century in the Gothic style. The last bay of the side aisles was added in the 18th/19th century. In 1950, a vestibule was built in front of the main portal in the west according to plans by the Aachen architect Willy Rommé. In 1978, the church was completely renovated. Source: Wikipedia
