Short holiday round. The path got its name because it was created by the restaurateurs (Landgasthof Schröder, Gröner Hof and the small country café. We already knew the path. Unfortunately, all the restaurants were closed. It started with sunshine and 1km later it was foggy ☹️ nevertheless nice end with a purchase in the farm shop of the Gröner Hof.

A really recommendable home track. At the beginning of field and meadow paths always downhill towards Ueßbachtal. Shortly before the valley we went into the forest. Here the paths became wider, but the Ueßbach meanders several kilometers alongside our path. A worthwhile detour is to Msusmuhle over an adventurous bridge (somewhat dilapidated). At the Demerather Mühle it went back uphill past the Wacholderheide Geisert nature reserve and a spring that is not of drinking water quality. Finally, you come to the highlight that gives the path its name, a Celtic stone ring and the Vulcano platform. Unfortunately, this viewing platform has been closed for a long time because the tower is in danger of collapsing.
At least I wouldn't climb it again. Despite the failure of this beautiful view over the Eifel landscape, it was a great route with great scenery. The path to the gorse flower would be lined with blooming gorse, since gorse grows everywhere.

Today's tour was planned to be 14.7 km. Unfortunately, there was no longer a bridge over the Lieser and the detour signposted at the beginning raised many question marks. But thanks to Komoot, the round was well rescheduled with 3.2 extra kilometers and we saw a very nice section of the Lieserpfad. Overall nice tour, but only a few highlights and paths, often hiking highways, but without traffic.
Attention Lieserbrücke below the Geisenenburg is simply gone and the fords through the Lieser were too deep.
