The museum immerses you in the turbulent times of WWII and the Battle of the Ardennes through three unique visitor experiences:

Firstly, the actual museum itself with 3 fantastic movie experiences that you should not miss.

Further in the building you can go to the great immersive visitor experience 'Generation 45': the replica of the ruins of Bastogne cannot leave you indifferent.

Finally, you can also go to the Bois Jacques with a separate entrance ticket. Here a piece of forest was closed off with fences and you have to scan your ticket before you can enter. Here you can experience (via your smartphone) what the daily life of the GIs of the Easy Company was like, who had to seek shelter in the so-called 'Foxholes'

A streaming tip on Streamz: The great TV series 'Band of Brothers' shows what role this Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, US 101st Airborne Division, had in WWII.

The Bastogne War Museum is a World War II museum focusing on the Battle of the Bulge. It is located a few kilometers northeast of the Bastogne city center in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. It can be reached in about an hour and a half by car from Brussels.

The museum is located on the former Bastogne Historical Centre site and was opened in March 21, 2014 after four years of work.According to the museum's official website over 800 guests attended the grand opening ceremony.The building is built in a unique five-point American star shape similar to the Mardasson Memorial which is located on the same grounds.
