Tips
This beautiful old town hall is right in the center on the market square of Horstmar and next to St. Gertrudis Church. The current appearance of the church can be traced back to 1571. Until then, the house consisted of only one floor. A floor made of brickwork was added to the basement. Curiously, the main entrance faces away from the church square. The city administration is no longer in the historic town hall, it is now used as a wedding room and meeting room.

Horstmar is a beautiful town with a couple of Burgmannshöfen and a small cafe by the church. If you are out and about on the cycle track, it is worth making the short detour.
