Arcachon to La Teste-de-Buch
Archachon really has a nice in May with jasmine and honeysuckle in flower and on the breeze. Sometimes there was the smell of pine. Parts of this walk in the marsh area would be very hot to do in summer as there is little shade.

La Fochelle is a busy tourist centre with most people promenading around the harbour, but it was still possible in May to turn a corner into an empty street.

New Alresford to Winchester following St Jame's Way Part 7
Following the St Jame's Way using public transport, we did this stage taking a train to Winchester and using a 64 bus to the start in New Alresford and walked to back Winchester often following the Itchen.
