First ride on this course, which after the stop-start hassle of coming out of Rezé town centre, turned out to be very fast rolling. I also spotted another public water fountain along the course in Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine. For information, this course is possibly the one where I came across more traffic

A glorious ride on a beautiful and sunny afternoon along the Nantes Southern countryside roads. This course is possibly my favourite so far. The views from the tops of the hills are amazing, especially as the fields are currently at various stages of transformation, depending on the crop and the time

I decided to ride later in the afternoon, and it felt good. I enjoy how nice this course is, as it covers a good portion of the adjacent southern area of Nantes. The sunlight in the late afternoon over the surrounding countryside is amazing. For information, this course is totally clear of roadworks
