I wish you a good time in Leipzig. The city has beautiful, well-preserved architecture. If you can, take a city tour. You can discover a lot of it there. Just avoid Eisenbahnstraße (possibly a bit lead-heavy!) and the numerous speed cameras, if you are also using a car. The zoo is definitely worth it.
