I parked on the free parking lane on Seestrasse, from which you can reach the campsite there in about 200m. Then we went on the hiking trail W1, which runs along the lakeshore, to the St. Margareth chapel. It went back the same way. Since I forgot to turn on Komoot again after resting at the chapel mentioned, the map shows a short passage across the water. A very nice hike that you can expand with other trails as you like.

We parked our car at the train station in Kochel am See and walked past the monument to the farmer's cafe "Zum Giggerer". The actual hiking trail finally begins shortly afterwards.
This initially climbs slightly along a stream with cascades, but then rises quickly and noticeably.
After another fork in the path, the path becomes narrower and it now goes clearly and over steps downhill.
The highlight is the Lainbach waterfall. There the water rushes down on a narrow bridge. Then the path leads back to Krün, always well secured. Before we started the drive home, we fortify ourselves in the Café Zum Giggerer with delicious cakes.

Today we took the cable car from Mittenwald up to the western Karwendelspitze. At the summit there is a circular hiking trail that can be used by almost anyone. At some points this path offers great panoramas of the surrounding mountains. A tunnel leads to the Dammkar, over which you can go down to Mittenwald. But be careful, this path is very steep up to the Dammkarhütte. All other hiking trails that branch off there are only accessible for experienced mountaineers and are marked with a black dot on the information boards.
There was even a bride and groom in appropriate clothing on Dammkar.

The Kranzberg was tackled as the first hike in our Mittenwald vacation. From there it went to the Lautersee, a beautiful bathing lake that is easy to reach from Mittenwald and is a highlight for me.
After a long rest in one of the two inns on the lake, we went back to our guesthouse.

Today we first went through the Hiesfeld forest, along the Rotbach, to Grafenmühle. From there, first to the Schwarze Heide airfield and then to the former BW munidepot.
The round ended as it had started. A quick photo of the Hiesfeld mill museum and then home.
Nothing sensational but a nice lap in good weather.
