About Michael Staniek

I could also call the round a “5 star tour” because you rarely find such a perfect route. Almost exclusively bicycle or agricultural paths. Through fields, past countless lakes, through forests and small towns. Asphalt as well as forest and gravel paths are all there. Always restaurants. The first small…

A wonderful family tour from Neuss on a detour to Zons.
Super varied route, partly along the Rhine. There were always opportunities to go into the water (at least for the dog). There was even an official bathing beach.
Zons a beautiful old town with many coffees, restaurants and ice cream parlors.
We stopped…

To start with, the Neye is a river with a small reservoir that I chose as my destination. I would have preferred to have done the tour with an E-MTB, because the many steep climbs pretty much exhausted me. In addition, some forest trails were impassable with a racing bike because of giant rocks on the…

A racing bike tour with cooling off in countless tunnels that are mainly on the Nordbahntrasse but not exclusively. On the route I found the old train stations, converted to restaurants, quite funny. The currywurst was 😋 delicious.
The paths are 90% very good asphalt and also some road sections.

🦩"Ordered flamingos, got deer"🦌 😁
It's a great gravel/racing bike tour on excellent cycle paths and quiet side roads with forest and riverside paths made of fine gravel.
The mountain bikers among you will probably get bored of the long, paved straights. But are good for sprinting and collecting km.
Unfortunately…

Actually, the order was to pick up a car 🚙 from the workshop in LüDo as quickly as possible. Yes, boss, 😏 happy boss.... But it's often the case that the fastest ways aren't the shortest 🤷♂️ So I gladly accepted the small detour.😁
Sprinted the Erzbahntrasse, with the traditional Fiege🍺 stop, the…

A long-planned tour to De Bijland Lake in Tolkamer on the border with the Netherlands. A wonderful way to get there that leads over country lanes, bike lanes of the finest kind and quiet side streets. On the way, still in Germany, is the beautiful Anholt Castle. The newly renovated Villa Huis Landfort…

The Kuhbach bike path surprised me positively 😀👍 it is very comfortable to ride, a real race track. The rest of the tour actually, except for the two forest paths that consist of very bad asphalt, actually potholes throughout. The dirt roads and side roads were fun. What I missed on this tour was a…

Arte Italiana has been a culinary enjoyable journey with live music at the Erzbahnbude...😀
Once again Emma 🐕 🦺 there. Our goal was a super Italian in Wattenscheid, but the first stop was again the Café am Ewaldsee ☕️ Behind the lake through the forest on the most beautiful bike path. Wide gravel path…

That was once again a direct hit 😀 great weather, great route, very interesting highlights and a huge selection of restaurants. A special recommendation is the Eternal Love where you can sit directly on the beach and the Café Seeblick on Lake Dreiländersee is a must on this route. A restaurant with…
