On the way to the starting point, we quickly made a photo stop at Nordby Church 😉.
The Kanhave Canal was built around 800 AD by the Vikings to shorten trade routes.
The canal is Samsø's narrowest point at 500m and only just over a meter deep.

Besser Rev - the narrow tongue of land in Stavns Fjord was supposed to be today 🥾.
