It was dictated by museum opening hours, park closures in the castle grounds, the market, and other ways to escape the weather. Fischbeker Heide in grau/braun mit ein bisschen lila
August 2026: Der Heideblattkäfer hat zusammen mit der Trockenheit ganze Arbeit geleistet. Wer blühende Heideflächen erleben will, sollte es in der Lüneburger Heide versuchen.
Nichtsdestotrotz sind die Landschaftsformen der Fischbeker Heide einen Ausflug wert - und ein paar Heideblüten gab es dann ja auch.

Bahnstreckenwiedereinweihung 🎉 Ausflug nach Schwerin
Nach mehr als neun Monaten Baustelle Hamburg - Berlin fährt die Bahn wieder. Wenigstens auf dem Abschnitt Hamburg - Hagenow, der Rest Richtung Berlin dauert noch ein bisschen. Für mich ist das aber ausreichend, um wieder ohne Umwege nach Vorpommern zu fahren.

Fehmarn is really an island for cars. Bicycles are certainly also ok. Only hikers don't belong to the target group of Fehmarn tourism. Especially those without a car.
