Gravel To the Wye 😊
Not quite what I had planned for today. Couldn't get away from work, when I was supposed to, so improvised the route. Huge change in the weather, grey and cold, but still good to be out, and love getting down to the river. 😊

Recovered - Day 4 - Epic Coast Ride, East Devon Towns
This was the actual ride, managed to recover it direct from the head unit, the elevation is still wrong should be 4200ft😊 This was one of the toughest 30 miles I've done on the bike. Fantastic bridleways linked with some of the most peaceful lanes ive riden. The gravel is flint and the bridleways very stoney!! Difficult to navigate with many sideways and one foot out moments 🤪🤪 Then there are the climbs Out of Branscombe and Sidmouth at an average of 16% with plenty of 20%+ !! 4200ft over 29 miles.

Wahoo corrupted the file so screenshot of the route and data shows everything was one of the toughest 30 miles ive done on the bike. Fantastic bridleways linked with some of the most peaceful lanes ive riden. The gravel is flint and the bridleways very stoney!! Trying to beat the storm's arrival, it was so windy on the headland we had to turn back!! Branscombe another day!! And glad I decided to give the bike a miss 👍 back in the snug comfort of the van 😊

Today, the weather was raining, so we went to Beer Village and participated in a traditional beer drinking Good Friday, with a little exploring in-between. The atmosphere was great 😊👍

Beautiful hike with a beautiful coast! And what weather, a pint is well spent and deserved. We were in this region 40 years ago. Devon is very beautiful!

Went out thinking, "Let's find some new trails, no plan." Went on instinct, had a general direction, and found some great technical single track, Roots, rocky flowing track, through the first half of the ride. The second part had some new sections of fire track. A lot of climbing, so a good workout for
