Steady ride over to Shakemantle Quarry, had been before a few years back, struggled to find it at first as is tricky to locate and a good climb to get there. Took the MTB out to see the setup of the course for tomorrow's Coleford Cyclocross. Met with @gustov who was helping out and will ride tomorrow 👍 had a little ride of the circuit, it's a tough one 💪 Nice loop back through the forest, some single track, but it was extremely muddy😫 nice to have a day with no rain!!

My go-to route, it seems, but some new bits for my brother @RichB sunny, but chilly today had to keep the legs spinning. Up on top great views to the snow topped Welsh mountains ⛰️ 👌

After all the rain decided to go for a ride on a mix of surfaces, lanes linked with gravel tracks and trails picked in the hope they wouldn't be too muddy!! I was wrong 🤣 late out, and it was cold 🥶 +4 down to +1 . I was glad to be out 😀
