Penrith to Shap

Its so frustrating when the route you planned is closed. I seem to have a knack of being in that situation too. Plan a ride, but dont do it until six months later only to find a closure and then faff around trying to find an alternative.

Hethersgill to Carlisle
With 40 miles under my belt. A 12 mile blast into Carlisle to catch a train seemed a solid plan. Arrived 15 minutes before the train and there was even a poster saying someone cared about me.

Dunbar to Craster

Burwick out and back
