Following Route 8 for most of the route. Originally I was going to take the direct route back but some drivers were more erratic than the squirrels 🐿️ so up I went to avoid them. But it was worth it. 😁

Stone, Newport and Stafford
New route today with two thirds on quite roads and then the last third on gravel.
Couldn’t fault the route though the rider was sluggish after a 10 day lay off.

My friend and colleague picked us up in his sailing boat and took us on the wonderful lake Konstanz. Tomorrow it is back to normal work.
