I fancied a full road ride this morning. It was 6am and the roads were nice and quiet. Rain was never far away, but my route meant I was initially pulling away from the rain, but as I returned I was following the latest shower.

Rolling in the mist

Rogerstone loop
A smokey valley again due to a new wildfire in Ebbw Vale and the wind is blowing the smoke southwards. A nice early morning pre work ride and I find myself riding in the dark again for the first half an hour. The days are getting shorter.

Rats dancing round the Maypole in Risca
A post box topper with knitted rats. I’m always in awe of the creativity when it comes to post box toppers. The 10 degrees temperature was a shock the system this morning. A nice pre work ride with lots of cheerful people about. 😊
