Tinder dry super hot England makes for great riding with rooster Tailing dust storms following you but it does make me worry that one spark will set the whole lot going π«£

Rooster Tailing super warm Mtb trails π
Very warm evening with trails so dry and everything a tinder box .
Great little loop though choosing to drop down to the canal from the hills to get the beautiful warm breeze along the cut .
Shirt open, Guns out, shorts on, fab trails and wind in your hairβ¦

Cool morning to gas mark 10 Cotswold Epic Mtbπ
What a stunning ride and place to rideπ
Out of bed at 4.30am after watching England win in football was a big ask π΄
But needed the cool morning to get the miles in before it got to hot which it did later on in the ride π₯΅

With that much mileage i tend to consume 1 litre of liquid per 10 miles in the summer time , normally iced with ice water bottle. I use the water bottle to tip over my head to cool me down.

Mixed bag Cotswold mtb with Fran π
Route didn't quite go to plan so we decided to abandon it and make our own up.
Stung and torn to shreds in just one overgrown bridleway π¬
Caught in a torrential downpour, nearly squashed by some crazy Audi driver coming from Stinchcombe Golf club π«£

Looks like another great ride @P. Whertyο»Ώ if not a little, frustrating with the overgrown paths!! Although looking at the pictures, you had Fran up front clearing the way ππ€£ Don't know what's up with these miserable roadies, for me getting out on the bike is my happy place! π

Gas mark 7 Beautiful Cotswold mtb hardtail XC π
Weather was absolutely stonking hot seeing me s amashing through one of the fords at full chat to cool off.
I really do function well in extreme heat and love it .
Garmin reading in excess of 30 degrees in some open areas.
Some places seriously overgrown riding through grassβ¦

Little bit more route recon for the Surley 100 bikepacking event with Fantastic Fran π
Glorious day and Glorious route into the beautiful Cotswolds.
Early start to avoid the days heat .
Give tie Surley 100 event a look its going to be stunning with 50 miles on day 1 and 50 miles on day 2 .

Absolutely stunning day, beautiful and sunny with a cool breeze was just perfect.
So warm spent most the ride with my shirt off π

Mondays XC damp squid lucky escape to the Hills
Feeling blessed to be awarded a lucky break in such strenuous and stressful times to get away on the mtb for some reflection and escape π
