Wow. What a day, what a ride, what a route. Spectacular from start to finish with the highlight being the road from Altnaharra up the valley to and past Loch Hope - what a road! Incredible views for 21 miles and the traffic consisted of 1 campervan, 1 motorbike and 1 car. Half way there was even a prehistoric roundhouse (a ‘Broch’) as a surprise. And the return down Loch Loyal after a coffee stop in Tongue wasn’t bad either - 30 miles of a main ‘A’ road that was a single track road with next to nothing using it. Add to all that the weather was fantastic - yes even in Scotland. One of the best days I’ve had on a bike.!
