Settle/Stainforth circular
Lovely walk. The Hoffman Kiln is fascinating. Weather was ok until we were coming into Settle when it absolutely fell down and got soaked. Fab sandwiches at Naked Man.

Reivaulx Gravel Circular from Sutton Bank
Stunning gravel ride downloaded from NYMoors site. Amazing ride and scenery.. One of the best rides I’ve done. Got a bit lost at one point and couldn’t work out where the trail went. If you haven’t been to Sutton Bank I highly recommend it. Harewood MTB Ride
Another great local Mtb ride through the Harewood estate. Then coffee stop at Muddy Boots in the village. Next found a “new to me” route across the countryside to Wike area. Then back through another bit of the estate.. Nearly all off road.. Finally a drink at the New Inn Eccup.

I thought of having a ride upto Harewood House and a stop off at Muddy Boots as well today but being a bank hol, expected that cafe to be rammed as it gets busy even on a normal weekend. So I stuck to my local trails instead 😁

Wetherby MTB Circular
Fantastic ride. Perfect weather. Mostly off road.. And found a trail I hadn’t done before too . Couldn’t find the bridleway at kingbarrow farm which was annoying as had to use main rd into Wetherby.. The Oven Door provided lunch and the gardens opposite a place to sit.

Esholt circular
Lovely sunny day with a bit of as nip in the air. Down through Rawdon and down Woodlands Drive, which is a private road but ok for walkers and cyclists. Some interesting buildings along the way. At Apperley Bridge it’s along the Waterworks Rd to Esholt the original Emmerdale village. Eventually cross the bridge over the Aire and onto the Leeds/Liverpool canal. Stopped at the Tiny. Tea Room cafe at Rodley on the canal side for scone and coffee.. I’ve done this many times but thought it worth another mention

Lasham circular
Lovely sunny ride in my brothers county of Hampshire. Down quiet country roads through quiet villages with coffee n cake at Lasham Gliding Club.

Washburn valley circular
Tarmac, mud, gravel and boulders! Sunshine, blue skies, daffodils, rivers, sky larks , red kites, buzzards, kestrels and sheep. Amazing views. Down one side of the valley and up the other. Fab downhills and hard ups. Through Stainburn Forest and out the other side down to Leathley it’s like your flying along the top of the valley
