wrf Bob

I'm an over 65 Emtb rider. I live in Windermere and the majority of my rides I can ride from home. I log most of my rides with POV footage on my youtube channel WRF Bob. I have a pretty good knowledge of the area and the greenlanes / unclassified roads in the area around me and I'm now learning more and more of the local bridleways with the added access of the E bike
I don't do anything extreme but I do enjoy some nice downhill

Garburn pass descscent to Kentmere is always rough and teccy the good lines seem to change every time I ride it with rocks rolling about and getting moved . Lack of fitness / seat time / old age and falling early in the ride made this one interesting for me my leg was aching like mad. Grassgarth bridleway was harder than at any other time I've ridden it, when I slipped I had the bike in walk on the top right of the channel and I was walking on the top left when i slid down sideways into the middle of the tarck with both feet sliding together towards the bike side landing on my left thigh with the bike on top of me both hands still holding the bars so i didnt have chance to try and help my fall with my hands, I sat for a minute assessing if I had actually hurt myself or was just winded ! Garburn quarry I have now learned that the centre chute is rollable at the top and I might try it at some point now after Watching Mark and Max tackle it I couldnt face any of the chutes yesterday even tho I have previously ridden the left and right ones just not the centre, luckily Max decided ultimately not to try and ride the rocks / slate down where there actually is no track , you really cannot tell how gnarly that looked https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BItTl4eutA

Windchill got to me today , and the thought of boggy fells pushed the decision to follow an easier shorter route introducing Chris to a couple of trails he hadn't ridden before https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQdrRGWdLo8
