A truncated version of the 100+ km ride from a few days ago. A murky day, but was dry and with very light winds. Slipped in a few intervals just for fun 🤣 Back in daylight so as to give the bike a jolly good clean!

Moderate SW winds today. Chilly day with the wind chill factor taking c.4°C off the ambient temp. Roads were generally good considering the amount of rain recently, although the fields were somewhat waterlogged. A chilled out ride and home by 6:15pm. I'd forgotten just how much I enjoyed riding after sunset!

Cold, cloudy with winds coming from the south. Heading south through Wetherby and continuing to Aberford. Left turn under the motorway through to Sherburn. After the industrial estate, onto the back roads. Unwittingly, the next 10km or so we're also part of last season's 400km route, I thought it looked familiar 😄. Tailwinds all the way home from this point. Even though the second 50km had more elevation gain, the average moving speed was the same. An enjoyable ride.
